About The Opportunity

Our client is a local professional manufacturers & installations company of kitchen and laundry works in NT since 2014. We are currently seeking experienced full-time Stonemason to start immediately to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting structural blueprints, specifications. • Determining the materials and equipment, tool, dimensions needed for the project, ensuring both vertical and horizontal alignments are accurate. • Assembling and disassembling scaffoldings of limited height • Designing, cutting, shaping, polishing and smoothing, fixing stones, monumental masonry to desired dimensions by using machines and tools. • Assembling, and installing stone countertops in kitchen areas. • Laying stones according to construction plans or project specifications. • Operating cranes, hoists, or heavy machinery to move stones. • Replacing defective or missing stones on walls and structures. • Meeting the general construction program timeline. • Following OHS policy and procedure on the site.

Key Requirements

• Currently in Australia with full work rights. • A relevant AQF Certificate III, including two years of on-the-job training, or at least three years of full-time relevant work experience. • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. • Experience using equipment to cut, shape and secure stone. • Physical ability to safely handle heavy materials. • Ability to work outdoors and in noisy environments for extended periods.
