Our client is seeking a reliable, experienced Glazier to join their team in Canberra. You will install and replace glass and related products in residential and commercial properties, delivering quality workmanship and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out new and replacement glazing work in accordance with AS 1288, building specifications and customer requirements. • Repair, replace and install related components, including window frames, hinges, glazing channels and door closers, in accordance with manufacturer specifications. • Safely operate glass cutting, processing, lifting and handling equipment while minimising material waste. • Maintain tools, consumables, stock and the company vehicle so work can be completed efficiently. • Follow safe work procedures, use required protective equipment and report hazards or injuries promptly. • Complete job records, client paperwork, payment documentation and timesheets accurately and on time.
Key Requirements
• You are currently in Australia and have full work rights. • You hold a relevant trade qualification or have equivalent demonstrated glazing experience and training. • You have a sound working knowledge of AS 1288 and the requirements applicable to glazing and construction work. • You can communicate clearly in English and work professionally with customers and colleagues.
